Sir Julian Huxley was the first president of the British Humanist Association. He also presided over the founding Congress of the International Humanist and Ethical Union and served with John Dewey, Albert Einstein and Thomas Mann on the founding advisory board of the First Humanist Society of New York.

The next meeting of the Hull and East Riding Humanist Group will be a short talk on the life and work of Sir Julian Huxley by John Hawkins on Monday 22nd April 2013 at 7.30pm in the back room of The Tiger Inn, Lairgate, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 8JG.

Please note that this will be the fourth Monday of the month (a change from our previous schedule of every third Monday of the month). All Welcome.
